For many years he worked in the aviation industry in Canada at De Havilland, progressing from Manager of Technical Publications to Senior Manager of Customer Services. In 2001 he left and established his own business, developing multi-media packages for a variety of clients including educational institutions and the medical profession. His work includes photo-realistic 3-dimensional renderings, animation and high-definition video, and has been produced under contract to major international clients You can see samples by clicking here. As well as being a recreational pilot, Alan is an experienced diver and has accompanied David on many diving expeditions, most recently in the Great Lakes of Canada and off Britain, Mexico and Hawaii. His speciality is underwater still and video photography, another major facet of AnglersThree Multimedia. He is currently developing a library of images related to David's work in underwater archaeology. As well as diving publications, his still photographs have appeared most recently in New Man magazine, Singapore, and on prime-time television in New Zealand. He is working on two documentary film projects with David, as well as the illustrations for books.
